Aragon and Fruit Logistica Join Forces to Boost Global Agri-Exports

-

A new chapter in the internationalization of the Aragon Agripood industry came out on Thursday when the Government of Aragon and Fruit Logistics hosted a joint conference with a view to strengthening agricultural strategies. The program was organized in the prestigious Pignatelli building, and brought leaders and buyers of the Northern Europe region to find out new commercial opportunities.

Cooperation between the regional administration and the world’s large fresh ingredients Mass emphasizes a joint commitment to increase Aragon Agri-Xports Fruit Logistic’s efforts: Aragon’s high-quality return is worthy of a strong global appearance.

Amparo Cuéllar Hernandis, general manager of innovation and food -promoting food, opened the event by emphasizing Aragon’s strength. “We have a powerful agricultural base and an increasing export mentality. It is important to show our quality and innovation with fruit logistics,” he said.

Bridging Local Strength With Global Demand

The morning showed intensive discussion about phytosanator standards, international trade trends and stability-all important topics for Arigon Agri-Xports Fruit Logistics Initiative. The speakers included a plant health inspector Ana Leone Lubias, who emphasized the importance of completing the international security protocol to ensure market access.

British buyer Lusa Ferrer from production partners emphasized the most important trends in the UK, including increasing demand for organic matter, ethical procurement and e-commerce-driven distribution. He praised Aragon’s manufacturers for his adaptability and ability to fulfill consumers’ expectations.

Paula Pigm from Greenfood Eberica pointed to the increasing capacity of the region of product discrimination. “Our collaboration with Aragonian suppliers is proof that the innovation is emerging here,” she said.

From Regional Roots To Global Reach

A standout moment came with the testimony of Nuria Izquierdo from Summer Fruit, an Aragon-based exporter that has flourished internationally. She credited Fruit Logistica for opening doors to long-term partnerships. “Events like this are more than trade shows — they’re growth platforms. Our presence at Fruit Logistica has propelled us forward,” she noted.

Silvia de Juanes, Communications Director for Fruit Logistica in Spain, closed the session by reinforcing the event’s dual value: as both a market and a space for innovation. She pointed to success stories like Genuine Coconut, a Zaragoza-based brand that won the FRUIT LOGISTICA Innovation Award in 2016 and has since expanded across Europe.

This joint initiative further positions Aragon agri-exports Fruit Logistica collaboration as a model for other regions in Spain, showcasing how strategic partnerships can translate local excellence into global competitiveness.

With the 2026 edition of Fruit Logistica scheduled for February in Berlin, Aragonese producers now have a renewed opportunity to build on this momentum, strengthen their international links, and take their place on the world stage.
