Conagra Brands to Reach Frozen Portfolio Milestone by End of 2025

The Conagra marks will complete the removal of the FD & C colors certified from their US frozen product portfolio by the end of 2025. The company announced milestones as part of its wide portfolio modernization strategy.

The infection includes frozen brands including Birds Eye, Healthy Choice and Mary Colnder. Congra confirmed that at the end of 2025 the entire frozen area would be free from FD&C colors. The step reflects the company’s long -standing strategy to coordinate products with changed consumer preferences.

Beyond what frozen, Kongra said it would no longer offer products with FD and C colors sold to K -12 schools starting in the school years 2026-2027. It also works to close FD and C colors throughout the US retail portfolio by the end of 2027.

Portfolio modernization includes nutrition and innovation efforts. Congra highlighted products as health -conscious consumers as part of the widespread offer as part of their widespread offers of food and birds. The selection also includes pantry marks such as gardens and purple carrots vegetarian lines, UDI and glutino gluten-free products, and hunts, rottel, rosarita and ranch style.

Earlier in 2025, the company launched a “track” mark on selected healthy alternative products to indicate elements that are a good source of high protein, low calories and fiber. These items are labeled “GLP-1 Friendly”, making a healthy alternative, which is the first major food mark that uses this designation on packaging.

The Congra mark to reach the frozen portfolio milestone by the end of 2025 as this consumer continues to develop its offers into expectations.
