Häagen-Dazs Shops and Vicky Bakery have launched a limited-time dessert collaboration called the Pastelito Dazzler in South Florida. The product is available from March 25 to March 31, 2026, in six Häagen-Dazs shop locations across the region.
The dessert combines vanilla ice cream with guava drizzle and crushed puff pastry made from Vicky Bakery pastelitos, finished with whipped cream and additional guava topping. The product is inspired by Cuban-style flavours that are popular in the South Florida market.
The Pastelito Dazzler is available at selected Häagen-Dazs Shops in Miami, North Miami, Kendall, Miami Lakes, Pembroke Pines, and Coral Gables. The launch is positioned as a regional collaboration between an international ice cream brand and a local bakery company.
This type of short-term menu collaboration is becoming more common in the food and FMCG sector. Companies use limited-time products to test new flavour combinations and attract customer attention without adding permanent items to the menu.
These collaborations are also used to test whether certain flavours or product concepts could work in a wider market. In many cases, products that perform well in foodservice chains later appear as retail products in supermarkets, especially in categories such as ice cream, desserts, and bakery items.
Regional flavour collaborations are also part of a wider strategy where global brands partner with local food companies to create products that reflect local tastes. This helps brands build stronger connections with local consumers while also testing new product ideas.
For the FMCG sector, these types of partnerships show how foodservice, bakery brands, and packaged food companies are increasingly working together on product innovation and market testing.
