Keurig Dr Pepper has launched a new countertop dispenser that allows convenience stores, restaurants and other foodservice operators to serve cold brew and nitro coffee within seconds.
The Keurig K-Tap Nitro & Cold Beverage Dispenser is now commercially available following demonstrations and operator trials. It is designed for busy locations including convenience stores, quick-service restaurants, workplaces, cinemas and sports venues.
The dual-tap system serves both traditional cold brew and nitro cold brew. Its flash-chill technology cools beverages to 35°F, or about 1.7°C, at the point of service.
Unlike some traditional nitro systems, K-Tap does not require nitrogen tanks, additional consumables or complicated plumbing. Its compact design could make cold coffee easier to introduce in locations with limited counter space or technical infrastructure.
The dispenser works with REVV Coffee Concentrate. According to Keurig Dr Pepper, the coffee offers a balanced flavour with notes of citrus, figs, molasses and chocolate.
Cold coffee has become an important part of foodservice beverage menus, particularly among Gen Z and Millennial consumers. Demand is also moving beyond the morning, giving convenience retailers and foodservice operators more opportunities to sell coffee throughout the day.
Keurig Dr Pepper is positioning K-Tap as a simpler and more scalable way for operators to respond to that demand while maintaining consistent drink quality across multiple locations.
