Aldi is adding fresh momentum to its private label strategy with a seasonal range designed to drive footfall and trial across chilled, frozen, and party food categories.
The range hits stores on 27 October. It includes a few new own-brand lines — Trick or Treat Pig in Blanket Roulette, Halloween Bao Buns, and Frankenstein’s Fingers. Prices run from about £1.99 to £4.99. It’s simple food, made to move fast.
For Aldi’s teams, it’s another example of quick turnaround and smart supplier planning. The Trick or Treat Pig in Blanket Roulette even scored 81 out of 100 from the Good Housekeeping Institute — not bad for a category that’s mostly about price and novelty.
Aldi’s also bringing back themed pizzas — Scarily Spicy and Cheese Feast — both £3.99, both with loud packaging and cartoon-style toppings that make them easy to spot in chilled displays. The Halloween Bao Buns (six-pack, £3.99) push Aldi’s Asian-inspired food trend a little further, mixing the playful look with ready-meal convenience.
Vegetarian shoppers get options too, like Frankenstein’s Fingers and the Witches Green Cheese Cauldron, which already proved popular in past years.
For the trade side, this range says a lot about how Aldi keeps its own-brand strategy moving — short seasonal runs, low supplier risk, and clear in-store impact. It’s not about gimmicks, just steady execution that keeps the brand visible and margins healthy through October and beyond.
