Huhtamaki has received the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the fifth consecutive year. The packaging company remains in the top 5% of more than 130,000 rated companies worldwide.
EcoVadis awards its gold rating based on performance in four categories: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Huhtamaki achieved strong results across all areas, with its highest scores in the Environment category.
The EcoVadis assessment evaluates the quality of a company’s sustainability management system by reviewing its policies, actions, and measurable outcomes. Huhtamaki said the recognition reflects its continued commitment to sustainability and food-safe packaging.
The EcoVadis gold medal for the fifth year in a row highlights Huhtamaki’s ongoing efforts to improve sustainability across its global operations.
