Stora Enso has informed that Katariina Kravi, who holds the position of Executive Vice President People and Communication today will leave the company by the end of 2025. She has got a new job beyond the organisation. The appointment of the new leadership was announced officially on 2 July 2025 as a stock exchange announcement.
Kravi has been in the Group Leadership Team since 2020. At this time she was in an executive position in group level of HR and corporate communications. The firm said that it will initiate the process of selecting her successor with immediate effect.
According to Stora Enso, Kravi will conclude a five year tenure with the firm during which the executive had a contribution in internal development, communication strategy and human capital planning. Details of her future role have not been availed.
Stora Enso is working in the packaging, biomaterials, and wooden construction industries. The company has installed itself as a supplier of renewable materials and is still one of the largest owners of forests privately in the world. As at 2024, the firm had achieved sales of EUR 9 billion and a workforce of about 19,000 individuals across the world.
The Stock of Stora Enso is traded in the Nasdaq Helsinki (STEAV, STERV) and Nasdaq Stockholm (STE A, STE R). It is listed on OTC Markets in the United States under symbols SEOAY, SEOFF and SEOJF.
The Group has assured that the executive leadership team will not change until the end of 2025, except the future change in the People and Communication division. There are still future developments about the succession plan later on this year.
