Tokyo-based Meiji Co., Ltd. has teamed up with idol group FRUITS ZIPPER to promote its Poifull soft candy brand across Asia.
The collaboration began in Taipei — the first stop of the group’s “FRUITS ZIPPER 1st Asia Tour 2025.” Fans at the concert received Poifull mini packs, part of Meiji’s plan to share what it calls “a little happiness” through its confectionery range.
At the Taipei show, the brand screened a new promotional video and created a photo zone featuring autographs from the seven-member group. Meiji said the lively fan response showed the strong connection between music and sweets culture in Asia.
FRUITS ZIPPER member Mana Manaka said she found many Meiji products in Taipei convenience stores, including items not sold in Japan. She added that Poifull is fun, easy to share, and “perfect to enjoy with friends.”
Free Poifull samples will also be handed out at the next tour stops — Shanghai in November and Seoul later that month.
Meiji describes Poifull as a soft, fruit-flavored gummy in four varieties: raspberry, lemon, green apple, and grape. The product is part of Meiji’s wider effort to expand its confectionery presence in global markets.
