Strong Together: Schwarzenegger and Moeller Front New PARKSIDE DIY Campaign

Hollywood muscle is meeting DIY grit. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ralf Moeller have teamed up for the first time in a new campaign for PARKSIDE, Lidl’s best-selling tool brand. The pair appear in a light-hearted spot designed to encourage both seasoned hobbyists and newcomers to take on projects with confidence.

The campaign, titled “You Can Do It!”, marks a renewed partnership between Schwarzenegger and PARKSIDE. This time he is joined by fellow actor and long-time friend Moeller, with the two bringing humour, energy, and a touch of Hollywood flair to the world of home workshops.

“From Terminator to motivator — the partnership with PARKSIDE is made for me,” Schwarzenegger said. “No DIY project is too complicated, no challenge too big. You just have to want it and believe in yourself.”

Moeller, who has long been enthusiastic about hands-on projects, added: “Do-it-yourself is fantastic. When you create something with your own hands and see the result at the end, the feeling is incomparable. That’s why I wanted to support this campaign. I’ve always been passionate about crafts.”

Their chemistry is central to the message: DIY is not about perfection, but about having the right tools, the right support, and the confidence to give it a go. PARKSIDE wants to remind consumers that a home workshop is within anyone’s reach, no matter their budget or level of experience.

Martin Alles, from Lidl’s international brand management board, said the campaign shows exactly what the brand stands for: “PARKSIDE is about powerful tools, but also about the courage to take matters into your own hands. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Ralf Moeller embody that spirit – determination, drive, and the belief that anyone can master their own project.”

The omnichannel campaign launches September 1, 2025, across Lidl and Kaufland stores. It will run on TV, social media, and digital billboards, backed by a wide media push.
