Target to Hold 2024 Prices on School Supplies This Back-to-School Season

-

Target to hold 2024 prices on school supplies as it begins its back-to-school and college shopping season. The company confirmed it will keep last year’s pricing on key items, including its 20-item essentials bundle for under $20 and its best-selling $5 backpack.

The retailer said the plan is focused on providing value, ease, and style across categories like classroom supplies, apparel, dorm gear, and student basics. Pricing strategies are supported by Target’s fulfillment tools, digital bundles, and loyalty programs.

Back-to-school prices, bundles, and brand launches

More than 1,000 school products are priced under $5 this season. These include notebooks, folders, crayons, $2 water bottles, and $5 headphones. The retailer’s value line, dealworthy, now offers notebooks starting at $0.35, lunch sacks at $3, and backpacks at $5.

For college students, new product bundles include bedding from $10, tech accessories from $10, and lighting from $10. Dorm-ready lines like the Room Essentials puffer comforter are priced at $40. Apparel across brands like Wild Fable, Goodfellow & Co, and Universal Thread starts at $5.
