Why It Matters For FMCG And Supermarkets

Seafood remains one of the most scrutinised FMCG categories due to sourcing transparency, labor standards, and environmental impact.

For supermarket buyers, ESG benchmarking increasingly influences supplier approvals, private label partnerships, and long-term procurement strategies.

Independent sustainability rankings are often used by retailers and investors to evaluate governance strength and operational resilience across food supply chains.
