PLANT CITY, FL – October 15, 2025 — Wish Farms has finished this year’s Pick-A-Berry, Pick-A-Cause charity drive, sending a total of $10,000 to three local groups across Florida.
The campaign ran from August 27 through September 30. It drew 259,027 entries and more than half a million online impressions, about 27% more than last year’s round.
Each person who joined could pick which charity they wanted their vote to support. The final split went like this — Feeding Tampa Bay 49%, Redlands Christian Migrant Association 26%, and Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay 25%. Five participants also got small cash prizes worth $2,000 in total.
Nick Wishnatzki, who handles public relations for the company, said the project keeps growing every year and helps the brand stay connected with real people. He called it a simple idea that “does good and feels good at the same time.”
Built Around Giving
The campaign sits under the Wish Farms Family Foundation, which focuses on food security, youth education, and community support. That idea of giving back is now baked into the company’s everyday work, not just once a year.
Wish Farms, based in Plant City, is a fourth-generation family grower that’s been around since 1922. It sells strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, and its own Pink-A-Boo Pineberries all year round.
The company said it will be at the IFPA 2025 show in October, booth #1239, to meet retail buyers and share updates from this season.
