Pacific Seafood and Ocean Beauty Seafoods have merged their distribution businesses in the United States, bringing six Ocean Beauty facilities into Pacific Seafood’s network. The transaction closed on 13 July 2026, with financial terms not disclosed.
The deal includes Ocean Beauty’s distribution operations in Astoria and Portland, Oregon; Boise, Idaho; Dallas, Texas; Helena, Montana; and Renton, Washington.
Ocean Beauty’s Salt Lake City distribution facility was not included in the transaction at the time of closing.
The combined operation will give Ocean Beauty customers access to Pacific Seafood’s wider resources and supply network. Pacific Seafood said the merger would also support its expansion further east and advance its long-term Mission 31 growth strategy.
The transaction brings together two family-owned seafood businesses with established operations in the US market. Ocean Beauty has operated for more than 100 years and supplies seafood through facilities across the western United States.
Pacific Seafood, founded in 1941 and headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon, operates across harvesting, fishing, aquaculture, processing and distribution. It supplies fresh and frozen seafood to customers across retail and foodservice markets.
The companies have not announced any immediate changes to Ocean Beauty’s customer service arrangements. Its distribution operations will continue serving existing customers following the merger.
