Albert Heijn Recalls AH Terra Greek Style Alternative

Albert Heijn has issued a product recall for its AH Terra Plant-based Alternative for Greek Style (1 kg) due to a potential allergen risk. The recall applies to products with a best-before date of 21 February 2026.

The retailer said the product may contain AH Terra plant-based quark, which includes almond, creating a risk for customers with nut allergies.

Albert Heijn has asked customers with an almond allergy not to consume the affected product. Shoppers can return the item to any Albert Heijn store for a full refund. Online customers can also request a refund via the retailer’s digital customer service form.

The supermarket confirmed that store teams have been instructed to remove the affected batch from shelves and manage returns in line with food safety procedures.

Albert Heijn said food safety remains a top priority and that recalls are issued to protect customers and maintain high safety standards. The retailer added that it continues to work with suppliers to prevent similar incidents.
