ALDI Announces Permanent Pasta Price Reduction Across Germany

-

ALDI has confirmed a new step in pricing strategy with an ALDI Pasta Price Reduction that permanently lowers the cost of staple pasta products in Germany.

On October 2, 2025, the ALDI SUD stores lower the prices on favorite pasta products, and ALDI Nord on October 4. It also impacts a number of own-brand lines, such as CUCINA NOBILE, reducing the prices to EUR0.69 per 500-gram pack.

Permanent Price Adjustment

The change includes different types of pasta. CUCINA NOBILE Spaghetti, Penne, Fusilli and Farfalle all drop by EUR0.10 a pack. In ALDI Nord, Linguine and Macaroni have become a part of the list as well with EUR0.69.

The relocation is a decrease of up to 12 percent than earlier prices.

Focus On Affordability

ALDI positioned the ALDI Pasta Price Reduction as part of its role as a price leader in the German retail market. The decrease is here to stay, when food budgets are being watched by many households.

The retailer assured that own-brand products will still be at the core of its strategy that will provide substitutes of branded pasta at affordable prices without sacrificing on quality.

Competitive Market Entry

Among the most eaten staple foods in Germany is pasta. ALDI reduces prices over its network which enhances its position in a highly competitive category.

The company was sending messages that the cuts were not short-term promotions but long term changes aimed at taking care of consumers and enhancing value leadership.

Nationwide Rollout

The ALDI Pasta Price Reduction took effect immediately in ALDI SUD locations on October 2, 2025, and will be live in ALDI Nord from October 4. The transition includes millions of packs per year and provides a good example of how staple food prices should be.

Through this action, ALDI will be able to maintain its long-term strategy of integrating strengths of its own label coupled with its invariable low price policy, so that pasta is affordable to everyone.

The ALDI Pasta Price Reduction confirms ALDI’s strategy of maintaining its leadership in affordability and value in the German food retail sector.
