Aldi’s lining up its next Specialbuys drop — and this one’s for the dogs.
From 23 October, shoppers will find a batch of winter pet gear and outdoor bits built for darker nights and cold walks.
Top of the list is the LED Dog Harness, £12.99, coming in black, blue or orange. Three light settings, USB charger, adjustable fit. It’s the kind of cheap, clever thing that’ll disappear off shelves fast.
There’s also two new LED Collars — fabric or rubber ring, £4.99 each. Bright colours, flashing or steady glow. Simple, practical, no-fuss.
For warmth, Aldi’s doing a Neon Dog Coat in hi-vis yellow with reflective strips and fleece inside, £6.99. Makes sense for evening walks. Looks like it’ll sell to just about every pet owner once the frost hits.
And not just for the pets. Aldi’s pushing Winter Running Tights (£9.99) and Running Shirts (£6.99) for men and women — recycled quick-dry fabric, reflective print, easy sell in the “stay seen” line.
The rest of the Darker Nights line-up reads like solid October traffic drivers: thermal socks, torches, solar lights, key safes. Cheap, useful, timed right.
Same story as always with Specialbuys — once they’re gone, they’re gone. Aldi knows how to make a short run feel like a rush, and pet gear has been a steady seller every season.
