Huhtamäki Oyj will host a sustainability results call later this month to present its sustainability performance for 2025 and discuss ongoing environmental initiatives across its global packaging operations.
The Finnish packaging company said the event will take place on 23 March 2026 at 15:00 EET and will be delivered as a combined audiocast and teleconference.
The session will be hosted by Rahul Nene, Head of Sustainability Center of Expertise at Huhtamaki. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.
Participants will be able to follow the event live online through an audiocast. A teleconference option will also be available for registered attendees, with dial-in details provided after registration.
Huhtamaki said the sustainability call is intended to increase transparency by providing a dedicated forum to review sustainability performance and ongoing actions across the business.
An on-demand replay of the audiocast will be published on the company’s investor website shortly after the event concludes.
Why it matters
Packaging sustainability has become a central issue for food manufacturers, supermarkets, and FMCG brands that depend on packaging suppliers to meet environmental targets.
Companies such as Huhtamaki supply packaging used across food retail, foodservice, and consumer goods markets. Their progress on recyclability, material efficiency, and waste reduction can influence how retailers and brands meet sustainability commitments.
By introducing a dedicated sustainability results call, Huhtamaki is also reflecting a broader industry trend where packaging companies provide more detailed reporting on environmental performance and long-term sustainability strategy.
Huhtamaki has more than 100 years of history and operates in 35 countries with 106 production locations worldwide. The company employs around 17,400 people and reported net sales of €4.0 billion in 2025.
The company is listed on Nasdaq Helsinki and is headquartered in Espoo, Finland.
